Sometimes I was able to predict when I would get acne… like after having a huge sub and a poutine (fries with cheese for those who don’t know what it is… also known as hobo fries to some). I just KNEW it was coming. Until I actually took the time to notice that digestion had a serious impact on my acne, I was completely clueless and I ate whatever crossed my plate.
Regular bowel movements and acne
A heavy meal like that would just sit in my stomach, and I could actually FEEL it clogging me up. I had just blocked my digestive track. Having good digestion is critical; otherwise waste builds up in your body and the result it acne.
This was a huge deal for me because I would eat very little during the day and then eat a huge meal at night, therefore clogging me up all night until I finally had some other big meal to ‘push it down’. Learn from my mistakes, make sure you have a proper digestion and it will help your acne.

I totally agree with this. I had eaten pretty badly for a month and then decided to start eating healthy again. Well, I broke out like crazy, especially on my forehead. Apparently if you break out a lot on your forehead, you’re having issues with your digestive system and colon. So, I went for a colonic (gravity method) and noticed my skin looking so much better than before! I mean, I literally walked out of the place and looked in the mirror and could see that there was definitely a change.
I think people in general should pay more attention to their colon’s health. If you miscombine a meal, such as mixing protein with starch will cause your digestive tract to slow down, so I find that if you don’t mix, you’ll be better.
For example, if you eat a piece of toast with an avocado, that’ll take about 3-4 hours to digest. If you add an egg, it will then take 8+ hours to digest. So imagine eating 3 meals like that a day! Your poor stomach will never have time to rest and a clog up will definitely ensue.

I think people should get colonics because man, you’ll notice a HUGE difference in your overall health as well as acne.
