Use tea tree oil to treat acne

Now the general consensus is that oil, combined with bacteria and clogged pores, is the ideal breeding ground for acne. The problem is that acne oil is here to stay and no matter what you do, your skin will always produce oil. So why do people concentrate on it so much? They try to use tea tree oil to dry it up on the surface. In fact, it’s like trying to stop a fire by reducing the amount of heat. There’s always going to be heat as long as there’s a fire. So why concentrate on it?

Oil for acne rant

If anything, a lack of oil would create extremely dry skin, which would consequently lead to more acne. Acne oil should be washed off, and the ideal way to do so is not with the use of over the counter medicine. The ideal way to wash off acne oil is to apply warm water to the face. Then wash off with cold water. Repeat this cold/warm water two or three times and your skin will feel nice and fresh. It won’t be completely dried up, but you won’t have the quantity of oil that otherwise would have. I have seen people with a ridiculous amount of oil on their skin and have absolutely no acne. Therefore, when dealing with acne oil, think about washing your face with water and that’s IT. It’s not the main cause of your acne. Finally, I would have to say that all the anti-oil products that I have tried over the years have all been horrible at reducing acne. If anything, they produced more than I had before as my skin rebounded. Either that or my skin became overly dry within a few days and flaked off.
