Acne pimples

There are various types of acne and within those types there are different levels of severity. The pimple concentration ranges from mild to severly disfiguring and the acne treatment described in these pages and in the recommended book treats all of these. For extremely severe cases, the treatment also works but it still might be a good idea to seek a dermatologist that can prescribe a temporary solution in order to immediately halt the disfiguring acne.

Acne Rosacea is similar in apperance to acne vulgaris but it is more a red rash which is usually located around the nose, on the cheeks, on the forehead and on the chin. It ranges from very mild in which you can only see increased redness to more severe pimples and blemishes. Acne rosacea is much more common in women but can also affect men. Because the methods of treatment for acne rosacea are different then acne vulgaris, it is important to determine which one you have.

Severe Acne

Severe acne comes in a few forms, the most popular being acne conglobata which is severly disfiguring. A lot of people will find that this type of acne is extremely difficult to treat with antibiotics. This type of acne seems to be the result of previous acne treatments which have failed, causing the acne to become more resilent.
