Without bacteria and clogged pores acne could simply not form and therefore you would be free. In addition, the proactiv treatment is a mild one, so it doesn't irritate the skin as much as other treatments. This is key because irritated skin would dry up, die and clog the pores, causing acne.

Problems with ProActiv

In practice, the proactiv treatment suffers from exactly all the same problems as all the other creams and solutions on the market. It is foolish to believe that they have invented a magical solution that no one has thought of before.

The anti-bacterial agents in the creams that they provide still only partially work, as the bacterial returns within hours because it multiplies so rapidly.

The skin is still irritated from the chemical agents inside their products, the skin still dries, and still flakes away.

Fighthing acne using creams is useless as its always trying to cover up the problem. They aim at curing the symptom instead of actually fixing the root of the problem, which is inside your body. This site is dedicated to curing the root of your acne, not covering it up.
